GM Round Robin Tournament & Mix Tournament For Norms,

Chess Club „Elektroprivreda“ and Montenegro Chess Federation after two successful IM Round Robin
Tournaments organize GM Round Robin Tournament and Mix Tournament for norms from 12-25th March 2021.
Tournaments schedule is:
1. GM Round Robin 2021/01 – Podgorica 12th March – 18th March
2. Mix Tournament for norms 2021/01 – Podgorica 19th March – 25th March
Organizer will provide chess equipment for all events, games will be broadcast online. Winners of both tournaments receive trophy. You can find Information about tournaments on these links:

Health protection measures will be applied according to instructions from Montenegro institutions and will be valid during the tournament duration.
Masks are obligatory all the time, safe distance will be provided between the boards.
Organizer are allowed to cancel some or all events in the festival if situation with pandemic requests events to be cancelled.
Tournaments Description:
Round Robin tournament is closed tournament with 10 participants and will be valid for international chess title norms. Mix tournament is open tournament, Swiss system, 9 rounds with many strong players and big possibility to win norms.
Drawing of lots and Technical Meeting for each event will be held at 09:30h on the starting day of both tournaments.
Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 15 minutes to the end, plus 30 seconds increment for each move starting from the first move.
Playing venue: Diplomatic Tower Gallery of the Capital Plaza Center in Podgorica.
